I bought the 2 piece in channel at first but for some reason the passenger doesn't wanna fit properly so ive decided to get the 4 piece and i absolutely love it! I was skeptical at first for the fact that you have to install it outside your window trim but having a heatgun makes the adhesive work better! Would recommend this! Just to make sure to do your chrome delete first (when using vinyl) or after (when plastidipping)
Great product. Install and forget about it. Never have to worry about this crappy plastic bushings again
I've installed many CAI over the years in my vehicles. This was by far the easiest and best fitment one so far. I take my sweet time when installing things because I'm very picky and everything has to be perfect. This intake only took me an hour. To me it looks better and sounds just as good as the PRL intake. Plus the PRL you have to take the ECU out and a bunch of other nonsense when installing it. NO THANK YOU! I highly recommend this CAI for the FL5 Type R.
I'm having a slight issue now that it's installed. I noticed a lil separation from the cover on top of passenger side mirror cover...the carbon fiber is bubbled up slightly and looks like it will only get more noticeable through time. plz advise for solution to this issue.. other than that your products look awesome! I do intend on plenty more future purchases btw, especially if this issue can be resolved with direct attention. Thank you so much and I eagerly anticipate your response even if a replacement cover can be sent to replace this possible defect...
