New for the Eventuri Intake System!
We have applied the same concept found in our HVI 3.5″ MAF housing to the Eventuri Air Intake for the FK8 Type R. By increasing the inside diameter of the intake tube where the MAF is located, we are able to achieve higher boost levels without exceeding the 5 volt limit of the maf. This does require professional re-scaling of the maf in your tuning software.
Additionally, we fitted a larger K&N filter element that has approximately 2x the filter surface area as the OE filter.
Even with the larger tube, you can rest assured that you are not compromising any idle quality, throttle response, or drivability.
This modification is recommended for any stock turbo/stock fuel system FK8 that is looking for the safest, smoothest tune, and is a MUST have for any turbo upgrade!
Much better heat insulation than the oem piece. Wraps around the entire downpipe from top to bottom. I have the TSP high efficiency downpipe too.
