About VP Racing

VP Racing Fuels was founded by Steve Burns, who initially exhibited his aptitude for R&D in the early 1970’s as a young racer in San Antonio, Texas. Self-taught in chemistry and physics, Steve was convinced the race fuel manufacturers of the day were falling short in their quest for optimum horsepower.

To address this shortcoming, he began experimenting with exotic blends of fuel, much to the dismay of his parents whose garage served as Steve’s laboratory. Steve began at the local tracks of Texas, where racers tried his fuel and liked the power gains. His first fuel was christened “C12™,” the word spread and Steve’s company was founded as VP Racing Fuels in 1975.

C16 - 5 GAL -- $89.95

Established a performance standard that still exists today for use in turbocharged engines, supercharged engines and nitrous applications with CRs up to 17:1. C16 is one of VP’s most popular blends.

MS109 - 5 GAL -- $79.95

Unleaded, highly oxygenated fuel that produces more power than any other unleaded fuel - up to 5% more than premium unleaded. Recommended for applications with up to 25 lbs of boost and naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 13:1. Compared to other unleaded fuels, MS109 is the best, all-around product for motorsports.

X85 - 5 GAL -- $54.95

Blended with 85% ethanol and 15% top quality hydrocarbons every time, unlike pump E85 which is very inconsistent.

X98 - 5 GAL -- $64.95

Top quality ethanol fuel produced with the consistency for which VP is famous.

C85 - 5 GAL -- $79.95

If you’re committed to using E85 type fuels, C85 is by far your best choice. C85 is blended with a consistent proportion of ethanol and every other component in every drum. C85 makes up to 4% more power and torque than conventional E85. With higher quality pure components, C85 is superior to E85 products. C85 works well in drag racing, circle track, off road and virtually any other automotive application. Note: Do not use with fuel injectors that are not compatible with MTBE.

VP110 - 5 GAL -- $69.95

Reflecting the consistent quality racers rely on from VP products, there’s nothing standard about this 110 blend. Formulated for use in naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 12:1.

T4 - 5 GAL -- $69.95

Designed for stock or slightly modified 4-stroke engines. Unleaded and ethanol-free, T4 is a direct pour-in replacement for premium pump gas, which has a short storage life and has caused a heightened need for repairs in all engines after periods of non-use. While riders facing extreme conditions are forced to add octane boosters or race fuel to increase the octane of pump gas, T4’s 97 octane rating (R+M/2) provides greater protection against detonation. (Compared with more expensive performance parts that increase power along only a small slice of the power curve, T4 offers 2-3% more power and better throttle response across the entire RPM range.)

VP PowerWash™ Super Concentrate is an extra concentrated formula that can be used alone for extremely dirty or muddy applications, or as a refill for the VP PowerWash ™ 32 oz. spray bottle when diluted with water.
