Jumped on the 4th of July sale. Got the PRL Intercooler for the FL5 at a great price. I don't know why I didnt just go with PRL to begin with. I had ordered an HKS intercooler previously, but it ended up being packaged poorly, and I didnt notice the damage when I opened it to inspect, but the end tank ended up being cracked when I finally had time to install it. Unfortunately, it was well past the time to report a claim. The minute I received my PRL intercooler I inspected it thoroughly. It was packaged amazingly, zero issues. Installed it the next day. I can see a difference in the IAT temps. Totally worth the pick up if you have not upgraded your intercooler yet, especially when there is a sale.
Got an ITS and wanted to get it to "full bolt on" status. While other MFGs. Offered catted DPs, no one guaranteed "no Check engine light" like TSP. I placed my order 4/6 and received the DP at my door step 7/6. I purchased raw version to not delay it any further,but its smart to definitely get it cerokoted to help with heat (i got it done locally as soon as it came in). Dont forget to add the titanium studs(you may need em)
If you are on the fence,dont think,just do. You will absolutely love the gains n both sound and HP.
Word of advise: Soak the turbo bolts overnight with PB blaster and periodically spray em the day of installation,lots of horror stories of snapped studs. Luckily I was able to remove one and leave the other
Expensive,but worth it. Does exactly what's its supposed to do,keep the heat in! Install is straight forward,but much easier to Install when DP is off the car.
