The final tune is great — Derek knows this platform and his reputation for quality is deserved. However, unfortunately I can't say my experience was a 5/5 . People mentioned fast turnaround times and even Derek has mentioned that the standard speed is pretty quick.
I chose the standard speed and the process ended up taking *8 weeks*. Each revision took 7–10 days even when I sent logs immediately. By the time we reached the final revisions the weather had changed significantly, became too cold, and I could no longer get valid WOT logs (I started the process in August).
To be fair, the product description does say 5–10 days between revisions. What I didn’t expect was that I would need around seven revisions. I had no critical issues with my logs or modifications either.
My suggestion would be to perhaps provide an estimated total timeline for a typical/common build so buyers can plan accordingly. I understand every car is different, but I was told by Derek that my build is "incredibly common" (bolt-ons, stock turbo, stock fuel), and so given that there absolutely is an average of how long an "incredibly common" build takes.
If you dont want it to take so long and you really want Derek buy the priority speed, else get the standard and start mid summer at the LATEST. However, at the priority price point its worth considering the other reputable e-tuners that are more affordable who will also respond much faster. I hope this helps!
