FUEL LINESThe Hybrid Racing K-Swap fuel line was designed to be a simple pre-assembled kit to adapt your stock fuel system to that of a K-Series engine. Why do you need a fuel line kit for K-Swaps?K-Series engines are normally are supplied with return-less fuel systems, meaning the fuel pressure regulator is inside of the fuel tank and has only one line leading to the engine. In most cases, the chassis that you plan on installing your K series engine (in this case EG, EK, DC) utilizes a return system. In order to have the engine run correctly, you will need to convert the K-Series engine to a return system. Although there is only one line going to the rail, this kit is still a return type system since the pressure is still regulated before it goes back to the tank. The kit comes with 3 lines with the appropriate fittings pre-installed on the ends. The lines are offered in stainless steel or black nylon. The black kit is our most popular kit for its stealthy look but they both get the job done perfectly. The kit also comes with a banjo fitting to connect to your OEM fuel filter and an adapter to connect to your hard line.E85 compatible
FUEL RAILHybrid Racing fuel rails are made from 6061 aluminum with T6 heat treatment and feature a durable anodized finish with a laser-etched logo ensuring that your engine bay looks fresh and your engine stays fed! Each rail includes a 1/8" NPT hole that allows you to mount a fuel pressure gauge directly to your fuel rail. This puts the fuel pressure gauge in a spot that's easily visible, so you don't have to poke around in the engine bay just to see if you have fuel pressure. All of the ports can accept a -8 ORB fitting in the inlet(s) and outlet allowing you to run either -6 or -8 AN fuel lines. The other detail that should stand out is the option for plugging the side inlet and outlet to allow you to run your fuel line to a centrally located -8 ORB fitting. This is positioned so that the fuel line can pass between the middle two cylinder intake runners (depending on your intake manifold.) This is an excellent option for anyone looking to tuck their wires and lines. What intake manifolds is this rail compatible with? This rail has been shown to mount to the PRB, RBC, and RBB intake manifolds without needing any modifications. Any aftermarket intake manifolds that share the same fuel rail mounting points as the PRB, RBC, or RBB should also accept this rail.FUEL PRESSURE REGULATORThe fuel pressure regulator is often overlooked, but a very critical component in a vehicle’s fuel system. Without a reliable and consistent fuel pressure, your ECU has no way of knowing how much fuel it is injecting into each cylinder. Most conventional fuel pressure regulators use a bladder-type design. Although the bladder-type design is cost-effective and reacts to disturbances quickly, those bladders often lead to significant pressure fluctuations, which are manifested as a bouncing needle on your pressure gauge. The Hybrid Racing fuel pressure regulator features a piston-type design that introduces damping into the regulator to reduce pressure fluctuations and needle bounce, giving you a more stable and reliable fuel pressure. Constructed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and 304 stainless steel, each regulator receives durable Teflon impregnated, hard-anodized finish and redundant seal quad o-rings for improved performance and longevity. The end product is a regulator that keeps your fuel pressure consistent and looks good doing it. Each regulator comes supplied with all of the fittings you’ll need to hook up either a return or returnless fuel system with -6 AN lines. The regulator can accept up to -8AN lines. (Package includes: x3 -8ORB/-6AN fittings,x1 -6ORB/-4AN, x1 1/8th NPT plug, Nylon vacuum port, anodized billet mounting bracket & hardware)E85 compatibleFUEL PRESSURE GAUGEThe precision-engineered Hybrid Racing fuel pressure gauge provides accurate fuel pressure readings that are critical for highly sophisticated fuel systems. They resist the most severe vibrations, offer a 0-100 psi reading, and are housed in an all-steel case with a matte black finish and a Hybrid Racing Green needle. No OEM Honda comes with a fuel pressure gauge and without one, you can not monitor or set your fuel pressure. With a fuel pressure gauge and a fuel pressure regulator, you can accurately dial in the amount of fuel your engine gets to ensure maximum performance. In the case of a K-swap, you will need a fuel pressure gauge so that you can accurately set your fuel pressure around 50-52 psi. The gauge has two subtle marks to help you line up your fuel pressure when running a K-Series engine.
