Our popular add-on for our 10th gen Civic tower bar is a master cylinder brake brace. The brake brace attaches to your bar and anchors between the bar itself and the front of the master cylinder. This reduces movement of the master cylinder itself and improve brake pedal feel both off and on track.

Bolted endplate versus fixed endplate and why the choice matters for performance.

Bolted end-plate designs are much more common and cheaper to manufacture than fixed endplates. They allow different materials to be used for the main cross-section and endplates help control cost and makes them easier to make. Also, a generic piece of bar stock can be used to fit between the end-plates on many different vehicles by simply cutting to length. While this is a great way for the manufacturer to control cost, bolted connections are a weak point. In this application, the (buckling strength) of the brace can be reduced by a factor of 4!

Fixed end-plate designs utilize a single material for the cross bar and endplates that are welded to each other. This results more complex manufacturing but the result is a design that is 4 times stronger than a bolted endplate design.

Our one-piece design is created using two steel tubes for strength and a low profile under the hood of your car. By utilizing a strong yet simple design we leave room behind the bar for future add-ons like oil catch can's and flex-fuel sensors that are sure to be available for the 2022+ Honda Civic soon.

Open end-plates allow easy access to camber adjustments for aftermarket coilovers. We thought of everything to make this the first and best Front Strut Tower Bar for the FE1.
