I don’t exactly know why Honda didn’t have a mesh guard to start but I am glad I installed these, excellent quality and from the looms durability should be no issue.
This is a must have if you have an 8th gen Si and want a much more fun and snappy driving experience. The ability to get rid of rev hang and lower VTEC engagement is a game changer as well as removing the annoying stock emissions controls. Is definitely worth the price to go for the race version.

Such a great product, really hard to describe how it changes the feel of the vehicle knowing it’s just a shift knob, but it absolutely does make your shifts heal much tighter and smoother. I am to the point where I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner or on other vehicles and now I will probably be doing it to all of my vehicles.
