I have no real-world numbers to offer, but I decided to upgrade from the OEM intercooler as I'm planning on doing a fair amount of track days with my FL5. Quality is flawless. It's a piece of art. One thing I noticed about this IC is it is very heavy. Much heavier than stock, so there are no weight savings to be had, but hopefully the heat dissipation efficiency improvement makes up for it.
I was a bit nervous after hearing other FL5 owners report noticeable vibration from other companies' rear motor mounts. Most PRL reviews were pretty positive, so I went with the PRL and I'm glad I did. I noticed no difference in noise/vibration/harshness, and mount seems to be doing the job with reducing wheel hop.
I paired this hose set with a PWR racing radiator for my FL5. Everything fits together nicely, but the hoses are tight behind the radiator. I noticed that one of the hoses touches the wiring and part of the fan shroud, which might cause rubbing and pressure loss in the future, so I'm trying to find something to wrap the hose with to prevent chafing and abrasion from vibration. Otherwise very happy.
As others have mentioned, this part was a natural solution that should have been offered with the PRL pieces that already exist. Simplifying the connections in your FL5's intake piping is a plus, and it makes it look much cleaner as well. Installation was fairly easy. You'll need a T27 Torx bit to detach the EVAP valve adapter/breather connections, which is replaced by a hex bolt solution. My only other issue was the provided worm gear clamp on the turbo side was too small, so I reused the one provided by PRL that this kit was replacing. Love the looks.
