Notes:
- No ECU calibration or tune is required, use of this downpipe will NOT result in a check engine light!
- This downpipe utilizes a 5.0" 400 cell count EPA compliant GESI G-Sport catalytic converter, for use up to 1,000hp.
- This downpipe is compatible with factory and/or most aftermarket front pipes, no adapter necessary.
- Consider pairing this downpipe with a matching form fitting blanket from PTP.
Technical Notes:
Research and testing has shown that a downpipe upgrade is one of the most effective modifications to perform when looking to increase efficiency out of Honda's 2.0L turbo engine. Our High Efficiency downpipe upgrade promotes optimal airflow with virtually no turbulence throughout the body of the downpipe.
Our design utilizes 304 stainless steel investment cast ends, CNC pocketed for a smooth transition to a 5.00" OD, 400 CPSI GESi G-Sport catalytic converter for the middle body. This 5.00" OD catalytic converter was formulated for small displacement direct injection vehicles and offers optimal exhaust flow. All components are fully back-purged on site to withstand high exhaust gas temperatures. The wide shape of the cast inlet smoothly blends the turbine outlet and wastegate gases to reduce restriction, while the cast outlet allows smooth taper to aftermarket and/or factory front pipe. All kits will include gaskets, stainless hardware, and components needed for a seamless installation.
Exhaust components that may become damaged over time from being coated, heat wrapped or otherwise insulated in some capacity are not covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty. Insulating these components can cause heat to cause degradation of the material faster than would normally occur.

The bronze coating looks good. Pretty easy to install except I had to enlarge the stock heat shield holes to fit. Sounds just a little louder than stock but still pretty quiet overall.

This might be the best mod for the FL5. It paired really nicely with my AWE touring exhaust. Sounds really good and not too loud. No CEL's either. Turbo response has improved significantly and coming onto boost is much more aggressive now.
My only complaint is the stock lower heat shield did not fit, this is why I am not giving it the full 5 stars. I could have flexed the shield to make it fit but just left it off. I am not that worried since I'll be ordering the hard lagged PTP downpipe blanket once (if?) it comes out.

The best downpipe money can buy
I had ordered my part in November and received it in March. It was the TSP downpipe with the GESI cat. Even though it wasn't their fault the part was delayed. Everytime I asked for an update they were quick with a response. I couldn't be upset because of how transparent they were being with me. The part was prestine! Beautifully pacakged and you can tell the care that was put into the product and cerakote paint job. I would and will order from TSP again. You guys are awesome keep this kind of service going.
