What you’ll find here is like nothing else on the market. Sure, there are other intakes out there but they are plain ole boring! Plus, they don’t do much for power in the real world. With the 27WON Hybrid Intake you see below, you’re getting the best of both worlds, looks and performance.

Look, we know lots of our fam want to upgrade from their stock intake just for the looks. Fine with us! We’ve created an intake system that consists of several pieces that work seamlessly together for a big upgrade in the looks dept.

Up top, you’ve got a shroud (choose from Painted Black or Real Carbon) that covers the entire airbox and also covers the mess around the driver’s side chassis for a slick look. A “27WON” emblem sits right at the base of the shroud showing off some subtle vibes for sure. Underneath and below the shroud you’ve got an enclosed airbox with an inlet to scoop up cool air from the back of the grill area. This works perfectly with the factory hood seal to stop warm air from getting inside your intake system. As a complete package, these parts simply cannot be beat.

Ask and you shall receive. Our dyno numbers prove it. Not only have we been able to achieve more wheel horsepower and torque, that torque comes on earlier in the power band. Now, 3WTQ might not seem much, but we achieved this 200 RPMs sooner. Peak wheel horsepower was up +7. Everywhere after ~3750RPMs, the 27WON Intake system beat the stock intake over and over again in multiple runs. This testing was performed on a 100% stock untuned Honda Civic Si. With tuning and other supporting mods, you can expect even more power.

We’re talking about a completely sealed intake system here. We designed this system with no compromises. Air enters the grill and is immediately channeled through our larger inlet opening. Then it enters the enclosed airbox that uses a gasket to seal the shroud. From there, the air can channel into the filter from 360 degrees without any restrictions.

When the time comes to wash or replace your air filter, simple unscrew 4 bolts holding down the shroud, remove a clamp and you’re done. That’s how easy this thing is to service. And this shroud is a feature no other intake on the market has! We just talked about how easy it is to remove with the 4 bolts, but it’s also super interchangeable. You can purchase one with a Black painted finish then change out for Carbon later if you change your mind, or just go wild and just paint the shroud in any color you’d like straight out the box yourself.

A large unrestricted airbox means more efficient airflow. With the stock airbox being so restrictive with harsh bends and corners, we knew we had to open up the path of the airflow and make it as smooth as possible. That plus the stock intake has a flat panel filter so air only has a small area to pass through. Read our blogs below on just how weak the stock system is.

The 27WON airbox here actually takes some cues from our popular 10th Gen Civic airbox and then ups the game by positioning the large performance filter in a spot where air is channeled all around it rather than just being directing at one spot. 360-degree access is the name of the game. Another benefit of this latest intake design is that air is directly channeled from the front of the grill around our specially shaped airbox and into the filter creating a ram air effect noticeable at higher speeds.

Besides a nice enclosed airbox, another area we optimized is the inlet opening or mouth of the intake. On the factory unit, this area is small and is blocked by plastic ribs going across the width. Not ideal. We do away with the ribbing and open up this are as wide as possible, while still maintaining OEM like fitment.

And see that channel that runs along the top perimeter of the inlet? It’s attached using six stainless screws to the airbox itself, no plastic clips here. That’s one of the pain points you guys described with other intakes. But even more importantly, we kept its shape similar to OEM so we are able to use the air seal that is attached to the hood itself. That means a perfect seal with hood closed for max cooling affect.

And what if you want an even bigger edge in performance? Pair this intake with our Air Snorkel for even more benefit. Our air snorkel can be purchased separately and directs more cool air into this big intake inlet from the vehicles grill area where the coolest ambient air resides.

We wanted to make this mod simple, just drop in and drive. Our Billet MAF housings come ready to run. We opt not to use plastic here and stick with anodized aluminum for a durable and premium feel. These are “Street” variety MAFs so they’re sized just like OEM and don't require any re-calibration of the ECU.
