Engineered with high-heat resistant material, the intake hose can easily withstand temperatures of up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Without requiring any retuning, this HPS silicone air intake kit improves throttle response by delivering smoother, unrestricted air flow to the engine while preventing heat soak that raises intake air temperatures and reduces overall power output. This kit delivers an additional 6.4 horsepower and 5.4 lb-ft. of torque. It retains use of the IAT sensor and air filter housing which minimizes the number of parts to change, keeping the installation simple.
