It wasn't the easiest install for me without removeing the turbo but it keeps the temps down and I was able to reuse the factory heat shield but it would look so much better leaveing it off. Once the down pipe is installed with the lave blanket I will proubably do away with the factory heat shields.
It makes the hvi intake much easier to remove by deleating the factory plastic coupler. A worth while upgrade that adds to the looks of the fl5 engine bay.
Looks amazing on the fl5 with the carbon intake and it shaves a little weight at the same time. Worth the investment for a cleen engine bay. PRL makes exceptional parts for the fl5 platform.
Protects the car from blowby on the pcv side and the ccv side. Easy install and worth the extra cost.
