Two Step Performance & Derek Robinson of Innovative MotorWorks present the "TSP Stage 1 Tune for the DE5", designed for use with Hondata FlashPro and the 2024 Acura Integra Type S.
This "off the shelf" tuning solution is designed so that you can flash the ECU on your stock or basic bolt on DE5 Integra Type S without the wait and expense of a fully custom tune.
Power output on our primary test vehicle was as follows:
306hp / 341tq - Stock ECU calibration
333hp / 367tq - Hondata "93 octane" basemap
369hp / 384tq - TSP Stage 1
+60hp at 6,500rpm over stock ECU calibration, +44hp at 6,500rpm over Hondata "93 octane" basemap. All dyno tests performed on a completely unmodified 2024 Integra Type S with 93 octane. Testing was not completed on the same dyno as our FL5 Stage 1 tune and numbers should not be compared between the two tunes.
Tune Features:
- Numerous fuel, ignition, boost target, turbo response, and throttle response changes.
- More aggressive tuning strategy compared to Hondata's supplied calibrations, allowing for large gains.
- "Full throttle shifting" enabled.
- 4,000rpm "launch" limit enabled.
- "Rev hang" disabled

- Comfort mode = Factory torque request mapping

"Pops and bangs" are retained, but after initial flash, there is a learning that must occur before the ECU allows them to become active. This usually takes one complete drive cycle, key off for a moment, then back on. Any time the ECU is flashed or reset, this occurs.
MultiTune (FL5 / DE5)
- This calibration uses the "MultiTune" feature in Hondata FlashPro. Maps are configured in a high-to-low fashion with the default (Map 1) being the highest, and Map 5 being the lowest ("Valet" mode).
- MultiTune map selection is retained even if the unit is unplugged from the car, and only reset to default if the ECU is flashed/unplugged/reset, or the battery is disconnected.
Map 1: Highest available boost targets, all gears
Map 2: Highest available boost targets, slight reduction in 1st/2nd gear
Map 3: Medium boost targets, slight reduction in 1st/2nd gear
Map 4: Low boost targets, slight reduction in 1st/2nd gear
Map 5: VALET MODE
Tune Requirements:
- A Hondata FlashPro device with a jailbroken/unlocked ECU is required to use this tune.
- 91 Octane (R+M/2) or higher is REQUIRED for use of this tune. Use of lower grade fuels is NOT tolerated.
- Up to 15% ethanol can be used to increase knock resistance if necessary due to fuel quality
- Optional supported (but not required) modifications include:
- Quality catted downpipe upgrade (no O2 error disable is available)
- "Frontpipe back" or "Catback" style exhaust systems
- Upgraded intercooler
- May be used with the stock airbox or a well designed aftermarket intake, including but not limited to the PRL High Volume Intake.
