Great purchase to protect from rocks!

These are definitely worth it. I live where unpaved roads are common and before these, the tires were flinging rocks through the wheel vent. These are made of good material and seem like they will last. Better than the cheap plastic ones.

Guards are an easy install and include spare pop clips if you break them while popping them off. Would recommend a pop clip tool if you would want to reuse the OEM ones since they are more low profile than the replacements.

The latest iteration of the Civic Type R (FL5) introduces a variety of new aerodynamic features but suffers from a design flaw that allows road debris to exit through the exposed fender vents causing damage to the side panels. High-end performance OEMs offer integrated factory mesh within their vents we thought our customers deserved the same.

ALPLUS has developed an optimal solution to uphold Honda's intended aerodynamics by implementing the ideal open-air ratio, ensuring maximum airflow and protection. A methodical process to carve out 364 hexagonal holes creating the carbon
mesh retains the original design language of the FL5. The careful selection of an improved Honda OEM clip guarantees an exact OEM fit.
