The 62a upgrade was amazing. My stock passenger side mount went bad, and used it as a time to upgrade. I should have done this sooner as it really makes the car feel alive. I don't have shifting issues like I did with the bad mounts, and my traction feels a bit better in the wet.
I followed a couple YouTube videos for the install as I'm a techie not a motor head. Easy install. I used a jackstand, my ratchet set, and a torque wrench. Easy day.
The ONLY thing I would do differently if I did this again, is to do the rear motor mount first. Even for other rear motor mounts, there is guidance to use a pry bar to shift the transmission forward a little to give clearance to insert the rear motor mount; however, after installing the passenger and driver side mounts, there was no more play to try and give space. I ended up jacking up the transmission a little and then hammered the rear motor mount home with a piece of wood. Everything fits perfect, no damage going in.
I bought returned parts, which were nice since they were in stock. Some damage on the RMM from the previous person scuffing it on pavement; however, everything else was perfect.
10/10 for performance and vibes after install. I have a heat shield I need to tighten that gets loud around 2k RPM, otherwise, the extra vibrations are noticeable when stopped, but nothing bad when moving. Took me about 5 hours to install all 3 mounts in one go.
