Installed the PRL lower torque mount on my 11th-gen Civic Si and the difference is immediate and undeniable. The car no longer does the rubber-band snap under hard throttle or aggressive shifts — drivetrain movement is massively reduced and power delivery feels direct and controlled.
The biggest change is the visceral feel. Throttle inputs are sharper, shifts are more positive, and the car finally feels mechanically connected instead of insulated. It doesn’t add power, but it absolutely changes how the power you already have is delivered.
NVH increase is minimal and totally acceptable for what you gain. There’s a slight increase at idle, but once moving it disappears and is easily worth the trade-off. This mount complements solid shifter bushings, and a short shifter perfectly and makes the whole drivetrain feel like a single, cohesive system.
Fit and finish are excellent, install is straightforward, and this should honestly be one of the first mods on any tuned Si. It’s one of those parts you don’t realize you needed until you drive the car afterward.
Highly recommended.
Love it. I paired this with the Rv6 g-sport GESi downpipe, PRL HVI, and KTuner, and it's excellent. I added the cold duct on the HVI at the same time as the inlet pipe as well. I'm not feeling a huge jump in power, but I can definitely feel much smoother acceleration and upshifts. I'm also noticing some louder turbo noises. And more general grumbliness - in a good way!
Didn’t have any issues installing, perfect fit. Feels a bit more torque and need it tuned but other than that very happy.
