"Why didn't you design Cobra-style cold air intake like the 10th Gen?"
Unlike the 10th Gen Civic 1.5T chassis, the 11th Gen Civic/ 5th Gen Integra features a rather large and efficient air duct through the front bumper/grill from the factory. We elected to retain the factory air guides, and utilize them in our HVI design. Our engineers decided to take this one step further, though. In an effort to promote maximum airflow volume, our HVI comes standard with it's own injection molded High Volume Inlet Duct that attaches to the air box with OE-style clips and seals against the factory rubber seal/guide on the hood. We have also integrated provisions to the bottom of our air box to accommodate a possible secondary air source for enthusiasts looking to increase airflow in the future.

Intake is of good quality and performance still on the quieter side, un til you do the added on cold air intake and intake tube.
Not as loud as i thought it would be but this intake plus the titanium inlet pipe makes a huge difference, sounds amazing, car definitely has a better pickup on acceleration. This is hands down the best first mod to do
IMHO this is probably the best starting purchase for someone looking to mod their 1.5T Civic/Integra. Easy install, adds a little pep, and you can hear the turbo better while still guarding against heat soak/sucking in hot air. Also install is very easy, even for a novice. I've personally installed this intake on my own Civic Si and my father's Civic Si, and we have both been very happy with all aspects of it.

The most easy install so far for me! Little vibration but shifting, grip, and feel of the car is worth it.
