From the announcement of the redesigned 11th gen Civic Type R in 2023, I knew that I wanted to own one as soon as possible. Like everyone else in the market, I had trouble finding one available in or around my state. So, I ended up purchasing an Integra Type S at launch. While the DE5 had a performance edge compared to other cars in the class, it lacked that "Street" feel of the FL5. Once a Type R became available in my area, I decided to buy and build it slightly different from our Integra Type S. While the Type R has an amazing feel stock, I wanted to build a FL5 that would give my DE5 a run for its money. So, I began planning the build by following TSP's proven track record of performance and reliability. So far, the Type R has been nothing but highlights. From the way the engine "wakes up" with the IMW ECU Unlock and initial Hondata tunes to adding the Hybrid Racing Short Throw Shifter, this car seems to come a bit more alive with each upgrade. I smile every time I get behind the wheel.

I was able to complete all of the bolt on modifications that did not require a lift, in my garage. The Next Level Auto Boutique wrap with the Titan Bronze wheels is my favorite modification, so far. :) This transformed the look of the car and will help it stand out on the street and at events.
